This fast-food company headquartered in Louisville welcomes new CEO [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A major fast-food company headquartered in Louisville, Ky., announced Monday a new leader will be heading its operation.

Scott Mezvinsky, 49, was promoted to KFC Division Chief Executive Officer. He will assume his new role on March 1, 2025.

Mezvinsky, a 20-year veteran of Yum! Brands, Inc., is currently serving as president of Taco Bell North America and International. 

“Scott is one of Yum! Brands’ most respected leaders, with more than 20 years of experience with the company in areas including operations, strategy, finance and development and a strong track record of delivering impactful results,” Yum! Brands Chief Executive Officer David Gibbs said.
