Dive watches have remained consistently popular since they first appeared in the 1950s. But as dive watches have grown more and more modern, there’s been a real desire among watch collectors to get back to the basics of dive watch designs that were popular in the mid-twentieth century. And as a result, we’ve been in the middle of a massive vintage-style dive watch boom over the past few years. The watches we’ve tested below perfectly capture the vintage dive watch look of the ‘50s and ‘60s but in a modern package that avoids the headaches and maintenance that come with owning a real vintage timepiece.
