The man accused of a deadly hit-and-run crash in a Greer, South Carolina neighborhood was denied bond on Tuesday.Tyler Roberts was arrested Monday for the death of 75-year-old Robert Dobbs.Troopers said around 4 p.m. Monday, Roberts was in the Sugar Creek neighborhood driving a Toyota SUV.Troopers said Roberts went off Sweet Water Road and hit Dobbs while Dobbs was on his private property on Woody Creek Road.The coroner said 75-year-old Robert Dobbs died at the scene.Many members of Mr. Dobbs’s family and friends showed up at the bond hearing.A spokesperson for the family said Dobbs was a husband and father, taken away in his own yard.He said Dobbs was adored by his family, contributed to society, and was a dad to so many.Dobbs leaves behind a wife of 52 years.
