Law enforcement officers arrested a suspect in the deadly December 2023 shooting at Park Ridge Estates in Ruston.
This comes after Hurricane Beryl hit parts of the state.
Local animal shelters are dealing with overcrowding. In fact, Four Paws of Ruston says they turn away 15-20 animals daily.Director of Four Paws, Sue Martin, says they would like the State to help and to even have shelters built at correctional centers.
