At Bendigo Leisurefest 2024, Warren from What’s Up Downunder sat down with Steve from Southern Design RV to discuss the dealership’s remarkable growth and exciting plans for the future.
Starting as a small two-man operation eight years ago, Southern Design RV has expanded into a thriving business with 26 staff. The dealership offers a comprehensive range of services, including new and used caravans, aftermarket parts, warranty servicing, and a specialized insurance repair center. Recently, they relocated to a spacious new site at 301-309 Learmonth Road, Wendouree VIC, with plenty of room to showcase their offerings.
At the show, Southern Design RV displayed a variety of caravans from Design RV and York Caravans. Steve hinted at big things on the horizon for 2025, including the addition of motorhomes—a first for the Ballarat market—and the possibility of new brands joining their lineup.
