SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Sioux Falls woman called it a career after nearly five decades of having it her way.
June Aulner is a shift leader at the East 10th Street Burger King, but she’s been a steady hand for multiple locations in the city.
On Friday, she retired after 48 years on the job, and her family and coworkers came to celebrate her achievement.
June’s first day at Burger King was in 1976 and since then, there have been plenty of memories made with coworkers and customers.
“Seeing them come and go, it warms my heart when I got somebody coming in or going through our drive-thru they go, ‘Wow, you’re still here. Do you remember me?’ and they will tell me their name.
