Sam and Kate Carter-Larg make mac and cheese

Saturday Kitchen viewers were left outraged by guest Kate Carter-Larg’s outfit as the on-screen chef prepared mac and cheese on toast during yesterday’s show (October 26). Critics took to social media and complained about her attire, branding her top “inappropriate”.

Kate, the owner of St Andrews takeaway The Cheesy Toast Shack, joined host Matt Tebbutt on the BBC show along with her husband Sam Larg.

The show host was also joined by fellow guests Gennaro Cotaldo, Julie Lin and Sir Trevor McDonald.

Kate donned a low-cut strapless burgundy top paired with jeans. She scooped her brunette tresses into an updo’ as she prepped a meal.

But her choice of outfit sparked fury among viewers who took to social media and dubbed her attire “inappropriate”.
