Roseville Parkway widening project set to start summer 2025 [Video]

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — The long-awaited Roseville Parkway widening project is set to begin Phase 1 of construction this summer, adding and extending turning lanes for a more convenient route in and out of town.

This project has been anticipated for a long time due to Roseville’s continued population growth. It will construct a six-lane arterial roadway to connect shopping, dining, office buildings and neighborhoods.

Stakeholder and design engagement started back in summer 2022 and a community open house was held in September 2022. The project is estimated to happen in two phases over three years.

In Phase 1, southbound Pleasant Grove Boulevard will add a third turn lane onto eastbound Roseville Parkway and an extension to the right turn lane going northbound on Pleasant Grove Boulevard to eastbound on Roseville Parkway.

The city plans to add a bus turnout on Roseville Parkway near West and Reserve Drive.
