Ribbon cutting held for brand new Hotel Polaris in Colorado Springs [Video]

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A new hotel in Colorado Springs held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

The brand new Hotel Polaris is outside the north entrance to the Air Force Academy on North Gate Boulevard.

The new “resort-style” hotel has 375 rooms and offers six food and beverage experiences, a boutique spa and a wellness center. It also offers signature guest services including the only flight simulators in the U.S., the Hotel said.

The hotel is part of a mixed-use development that includes the Academy’s new 32,000-square-foot visitor center, which is scheduled to open in 2025.
