A lightning-sparked wildfire burning in Stanislaus National Forest continues to grow in size.
The 2,157 acre Quarry Fire is east of Bourland Creek, approximately four miles west of the Emigrant Wilderness Border.
The Forest Service says this fire was one of several fires that started by lightning across the Forest on September 9.
More than 120 fire personnel are working to contain the fire right now.
The public is asked to avoid roads within active fire areas for their safety.
