Dead River Road was closed for four hours Friday afternoon as crews investigated and worked to remove the truck.
BOWDOIN, Maine — Emergency crews responded to the area of 179 Dead River Rd. in Bowdoin on Friday due to a rollover crash involving a propane delivery truck.
A Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office deputy came across the crash at around 1:45 p.m., according to a social media post from the office. The crash was near the intersection of Academy Road.
The driver of the truck was able to climb out safely, and was not injured. The road was immediately closed by emergency crews, the sheriff’s office said.
The propane truck was a 2006 Freightliner owned by G&G Cash Fuel out of Litchfield.
