Penneys, the international fashion retailer known as Primark abroad, is continuing its expansion in Poland with an investment of over €25m to support its growth.
Penneys plans to open three new stores, creating up to 400 new jobs for the Polish market.
This expansion will bring its total number of stores in the country to 10 and increase its retail space by over 25%.
The new stores will be located in Felicity, Lublin, Biała Shopping Centre, Białystok and a second location in Warsaw in Promenada.
The openings are scheduled for Penneys’ 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 fiscal years.
The fashion chain opened its first store in Poland four years ago in Galeria Młociny, Warsaw and has since grown to seven locations with stores in Poznan, Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, Lodz and Bydgoszcz.
Penneys continues to expand its presence in Central and Eastern Europe, ending 2024 with 16 stores in six different markets.
