Pa. GOP county councilman says Democratic colleague has to go over Trump shooting joke [Video]

A Pennsylvania Republican county councilman is calling on a Democratic colleague to resign after she made a social media post that jokingly referenced the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.

Allegheny County Councilman Sam DeMarco, who is also chairman of the Allegheny County Republican Committee, said Councilperson Bethany Hallam “has to go” following her post on X/Twitter shortly after a gunman opened fire, grazing Trump’s ear, seriously wounding two crowd members and killing one man.
