An Ormesby dad-of-four says he owes his life to a fellow diner who rushed to his aid when he choked on a steak wrap.
Social media influencer Sam Cubitt was having a meal out in The Norman Conquest pub with three of his children and his ex-partner when a piece of steak became lodged in his throat. The terrified 31-year-old started panicking and couldn’t breathe and says he had never experienced anything like it before.
Luckily, on a nearby table, Stu Lambert, was also dining out in the Guildford Road pub, and he jumped up and rushed to Sam’s aid. Somehow Stu managed to turn Sam upside down and some of the steak fell out.
