The jersey number has not been worn by Pleasant Grove players for the past six years, and school leaders said they wanted to make the retirement official.

Several of Bradberry’s family members, former coaches and even Bradberry himself were in attendance for the ceremony.

Bradberry has played for the Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants before signing on with the Eagles in 2022.

Through it all, Bradberry never forgot his roots, and says he’s honored that they’re remembering him as well.
