OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) – The heavy rain on Friday and Saturday has been causing some problems for local events and prompting warnings for drivers.
We’ve had reports of many events being postponed or canceled, and some, like Fox Valley Pride, being moved indoors.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation posted on their social media that if you plan to drive during the storms, never drive in standing water and if you see barricades, turn around and find another route.
The U.S. National Weather Service Green Bay Wisconsin posted that, since Friday, some areas have seen as much as 4 inches of rain. Viewers have sent us rainfall gauges, with some areas getting to 5 inches.
We spoke today to one business that was impacted by the rain on Friday and Saturday.
