LMMC Addressing Area’s Workforce Challenges [Video]

HERMITAGE, Pa. – The Lawrence Mercer Manufacturers Coalition is a group of local manufacturers who are addressing the workforce challenges in the area to ensure their long-term growth and success.

As the manufacturing industry faces an increasing need for skilled labor, the coalition is working to bridge the gap by promoting the benefits of today’s manufacturing environment.

“I think that we’ve seen this transition from decades ago when manufacturing was built on strong backs to now it’s being driven by strong minds,” says Julie Michael Smith, coalition manager of the LMMC.
