Kansas filmmakers urge state lawmakers to pass film tax credit [Video]

Kansas is currently experiencing a push to increase the production of films and TV shows, with state lawmakers considering a new tax credit for filmmakers.”We really want to have a focus on local TV productions, local film productions,” Filmmaker Justin Begnaud told KMBC on Tuesday.Begnaud is hopeful that Kansas will pass a film tax credit bill during the state legislature’s next session.”I believe the last count, there were 35 states that have a tax incentive.
