Joy Reid Blames Trump Assassination Attempts on MAGA [Video]

MSNBC’s Joy Reid claimed it’s MAGA that is responsible for “actual violence” just days after the Secret Service thwarted a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Reid blasted Trump and others for pushing a conspiracy theory about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, kidnapping and eating pets, a story that has been denied numerous times by local officials who say there is no proof to back up the wild social media claims. This conspiracy theory, Reid added, has led to bomb threats in Springfield, Ohio, including some that led to the closure of schools.

Reid then claimed that Trump was targeted in both assassination attempts — the latest in Florida, the previous in Pennsylvania — by his own supporters, but it’s not clear what Reid is basing these claims of political affiliation on.
