Jamaican Influencer World Dawg Hospitalized After Miami Shooting, Friend Killed [Video]

Miramar, Miami—Social media star and Jamaican influencer Akeem Dunbar, widely known by his online aliases ‘World Dawg’ and ‘Facebook Hero’, was rushed to Memorial Hospital early this morning after being shot in a tragic incident that left one man dead.

The shooting, which occurred around 3 a.m. near the 6200 block of Miramar Parkway, has rocked both his fanbase and the community.

Police responded to reports of gunfire near a Dunkin Donuts and found multiple spent shell casings at the scene, alongside a trail of blood. After tracing the evidence northward, officers discovered a black BMW several blocks away. Inside the vehicle, they found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has since been identified as ‘Joe’, a close friend of World Dawg.
