An Ipswich Town fan who claims that he was “offered out” by Roy Keane has revealed what started the row which is now going viral on social media.
The incident happened last night after Ruben Amorim’s first game as Manchester United coach, during which his side drew 1-1 with an inspired Ipswich side.
Marcus Rashford hailed in the Amorim era after just two minutes tapping in from close range following great wing work from Amad Diallo.
However, there was no dream start for the Portuguese manager as Omari Hutchinson scored a beauty on the cusp of halftime to draw level with United.
The Sky Sports panel that night included former United captain and legend Keane, who also had a spell as Ipswich manager between 2009 and 2011.
After the game, Keane was seen exchanging heated words with some home supporters, appearing to tell one that he would “wait for him in the carpark”.
