Walking down Taunton’s bustling high street, you can’t help but notice the stunning transformation at the 19th Century number 7 Fore Street. What was once a forgotten bank has been lovingly restored, bringing back a slice of life to the area.
The culprit behind this breath of fresh air? None other than the Cornish Bakery, a brand with deep roots in Cornwall and a growing footprint across the UK.
The new eatery opened on Tuesday, October 1, with Mayor Councillor Vanessa Garside cutting the ribbon. The new bakery will create 15+ year-round local jobs whilst supporting the Taunton community through a partnership with a local charity, to be selected by the new bakery team and announced shortly.
