DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Though Democrats are receiving attention this week during the party’s convention, Republicans still have a good vibe about the 2024 presidential election.
One of them is U.S. Representative Barry Moore (R-AL2), who believes Republicans deliver a message important to voters.
“This is a ‘two G’ election, I tell everybody, gas and groceries,” said Rep. Moore. “No matter how you vote, no matter your demographic, inflation is crippling the American family, so it’s important that we engage in the process. You cannot lean on the shovel and pray for a hole.”
He also went on to call this the most important election in our nation’s history, “no matter how old you are.”
Rep. Moore claims to be the first elected official in America to support Donald Trump, and remains a close ally of the former president today.
