Sam Jones has revealed John Fury took issue after he criticised his role in his son’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury Sr was part of a three-man corner for the Gypsy King’s points defeat to Usyk in their undisputed title clash in May.
Fans on social media claimed that his advice clashed with that of Sugar Hill Steward and Andy Lee, and contributed to Fury’s first career demise.
Boxing manager Sam Jones supported that view, insisting the corner would need some changes for their December 21 rematch.
