Lauren London continues to honor the legacy of the late Nipsey Hussle in a multitude of ways. When the actress isn’t busy promoting The Marathon Clothing, she’s executing his vision of helping people of color achieve financial freedom through entrepreneurship with the “Nipsey Hussle 100K pitch competition,” in partnership with Microsoft, Earn Your Leisure (EYL), and The Marathon Clothing.
One of Hussle’s many passions was seeing Black-owned businesses thrive through entrepreneurship. He was an advocate for financial literacy, understanding that communities could grow and thrive with a better understanding of investments, ownership, and more. Years after his passing, the rapper’s vision came to fruition at the 3rd annual Invest Fest Pitch Competition, where business owners competed for a 100k grant.
