Here’s what we know about the store closure.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Hanesbrands store in the Triad is set to close at the end of January, according to a company spokesperson.
The store is located in the Thruway Shopping Center in Winston-Salem. The decision to close the store was made earlier in 2024.
Hanesbrands told WFMY News 2 the following in a statement:
“Earlier this year, we made the strategic decision to exit our U.S. outlet stores as part of our broader effort to strengthen the company, simplify the business, and focus on key areas of growth. This includes our flagship Hanes store in the Thruway Shopping Center of Winston-Salem, which we will be closing at the end of January 2025.
While we are closing this outlet location, we remain dedicated to providing value to our customers through other channels. We will continue to cultivate our relationship with the Winston-Salem community and are committed to maintaining a positive …
