Great Southern Copper PLC (LSE:GSCU) earlier this week announced the successful raising of £780,000, attracting new investors alongside the company’s cornerstone shareholder.
CEO Sam Garrett described this investment as a crucial show of confidence in the company’s potential, especially notable during a difficult period for securing mining finance.
He stated that “there are people out there who are looking for good opportunities and opportunities that show the potential for growth.”
The company plans to deploy these funds to support its drilling pipeline at the Especularita project in Chile, where it has identified seven targets, including the Mostaza and Viuda prospects.
