Government to introduce new business incentives to boost job creation [Video]

President John Mahama has announced plans to introduce new incentives aimed at supporting businesses and driving job creation across the country.

This initiative forms part of the government’s broader private sector empowerment strategy to tackle unemployment and stimulate economic growth.

Speaking on behalf of the President at the First Sky Group Thanksgiving Service, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah emphasized the administration’s commitment to engaging the private sector to enhance economic development.

“As part of the resetting agenda, we will hold consultations with businesses across various sectors and grant certain concessions to enable them to thrive and create jobs,” he stated.

In a related development, First Sky Group has unveiled plans to construct a 200-megawatt renewable power plant in northern Ghana over the next two years.

The project is expected to complement ongoing energy initiatives aimed at enhancing Ghana’s power supply.
