Agrofood expert Dr. Nana Achiaa Ankrah has admonished parents to be cautious about what their children consume because the food a child consumes could serve as either the safest and most essential medicine for growth or could even be a slow poison.
According to her, parents should be circumspect about the type of food they feed their children in order to prevent any form of deficiency it may be associated with. She stressed that choosing the right meal for a child is very prudent to ensure that the child is acquiring the necessary nutrients embedded in a particular meal.
