PHOENIX — Fender Musical Instruments has broken ground on a new 77,000-square-foot facility that will serve as the company’s new co-headquarters at the former Paradise Valley Mall property.
The guitar manufacturer plans to have the three-story building open and running by the fall of 2025. It will include a model shop for Fender’s guitar and amplifier designers, a sound room, a café, meeting rooms and workspaces.
“This is a pretty big deal for us,” said CEO Andy Mooney, noting the growth spurt Fender has experienced over the last decade and the need for a new campus.
The company held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday with local elected officials at the project site.
