Fake Tiffany and Co. jewelry seized [Video]

CHAMPLAIN, N.Y. — Officers from the US Customs and Border Protection at the Champlain Port of Entry seized multiple shipments of counterfeit jewelry.

Investigators say from December 2024 until January 6, 2025, officers inspected separate shipments which contained several items appearing to be ‘high-end’ jewelry. 

The items, police say, were counterfeit Tiffany & Co. items. They were seized by officers for Intellectual Property Rights violations.

If they were real pieces of Tiffany & Co. jewelry, they would have been valued at approximately $29,989.

“CBP continues to play a crucial role in protecting the consumer and businesses from the importation of fraudulent merchandise,” said Champlain Port Director Steve Bronson. “I’m proud of the outstanding job our officers and import specialists do in targeting these shipments and identifying these violations.”
