Epic Games Fortnite Launches ESPN-Themed Island [Video]

Following Disney’s $1.5 billion investment in Epic Games earlier this year, ESPN has launched “ESPN Football Island” in Fortnite. Players will be welcomed by ESPN SportsCenter Anchors Randy Scott and Gary Striewski, and will hear the SportsCenter and NHL content host Arda Öcal as announcer.

With persistent progression and exclusive island-specific unlockable cosmetics, the experience includes multiple activities, challenges, and minigames, all centered around the island’s main event – Touchdown Rush, a multiplayer competitive “Payload Push” take on football.
