Discussing Voisey’s Bay, Lafleche noted that cobalt deliveries increased significantly in the second half of 2024, with a promising growth trajectory for 2025. He also shared details about Mantos Blancos, where feasibility studies and tailings retreatment could unlock substantial copper production, potentially boosting output by 50%.
Lafleche outlined three key trends shaping Ecora’s future: expanding electrification demand, a strong outlook for copper, and market volatility creating potential opportunities. He stated, “Ecora investors are well positioned to benefit from our copper growth profile.”
