Audiences can finally get their first look into the making of How to Train Your Dragon, the live-action reimagining of the first film in the hugely successful animated franchise launched by DreamWorks Animation back in 2010.
The new film, hitting theaters June 13, 2025, is written, produced and directed by three-time Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Dean DeBlois, who along with The Wild Robot director Chris Sanders, directed the original. It is also produced by three-time Oscar nominee Marc Platt (Wicked, La La Land) and Emmy winner Adam Siegel (Drive, 2 Guns).
Christian Manz is serving as production VFX supervisor; VFX studios on the film include Framestore and Clear Angle Studios.
