Deputies still looking for missing Union Co. woman despite false reports [Video]

CARLISLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Union County Sheriff’s Office said officials are still looking for a missing woman despite false reports of her being found.

Officials said Lisa Johnson, 61, was reportedly missing shortly before 7 a.m. on April 22.

On Monday, May 20, the sheriff’s office said it received a hit on Johnson from a sheriff’s office in North Carolina. Citizens of Union that have a scanner heard this hit and posted on different social media platforms that Johnson has been located.

Deputies stated that this information is incorrect.

The hit was for a different Lisa Johnson with some of the same identifying marks.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office and SLED are still actively searching for Johnson.
