HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A defense and national security company is expanding operations with a new office in Huntsville, positioning itself to enhance support for military programs and tap into the region’s aerospace talent pool.
The move by QinetiQ US comes on the heels of the company’s recent U.S. Army Aerial Target Systems 3 contract award, which will support the Army’s Threat Systems Management Office at Redstone Arsenal.
QinetiQ US President and CEO Shawn N. Purvis described the expansion as a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy.
“By establishing a presence in Rocket City, we’re bringing our legacy of service and innovation to support the warfighter,” Purvis said.
