Dale Earnhardt Jr. has made no secret of his feelings regarding potential changes to the NASCAR broadcast setup for 2025.
The CW, which is set to become the new broadcaster for the Xfinity Series from 2025, is reportedly considering a shift in its broadcasting strategy. This change includes the possibility of calling Xfinity Series races remotely from NASCAR Studios in North Carolina.
Responding to a report shared by Sports Business Journal on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Earnhardt revealed his disapproval. In a pointed remark, he stated:
“I hope they do not.”
Discussions between The CW and relevant stakeholders continue without a definitive decision yet on how the races will be broadcast.
