After years of weighing options, the Tennessee Valley Authority has landed on a retirement plan for the Kingston Fossil Plant.

KCS did say that the school was evacuated as a precaution and that law enforcement was on the scene.

Chief Meteorologist Heather Haley says damage is possible from the strong cold front.

Officials with KPD said the department has taken, on average, 10,000 animal-related calls a year since 2020.
