China’s State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission reported that in 2024, central state-owned enterprises achieved steady growth in assets, profits and taxes. Last year, central SOEs’ asset scale surpassed 9 trillion yuan ($1.2 trillion), a 5.9 percent increase year-on-year.
