SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Good Samaritan Society – Sioux Falls Village got some special visitors on Wednesday.
Children from the School of Early Childhood Education were there to read and do crafts with the residents.
Everyone involved enjoyed the opportunity for something new and the connections created between the children and residents.
“I like doing it. I just really like making crafts, and it is going to a good cause, too,” said Maizie Dalchow, 10 years old.
“They are so happy and willing to do things. I am very impressed,” said Philomena Punt, Good Samaritan resident.
The kids visit the residents multiple times a year. The owner of the school has been bringing children for the past 20 years.
