Butte County Behavioral Health working to get back online following global CrowdStrike technology outage | Butte County [Video]

CHICO, Calif. – The global CrowdStrike technical outage knocked many of the departments that Butte County operates offline Friday.

In a post on social media, Butte County said that staff members from their Information Systems department have been working through the night to address all of the computer issues caused by the global CrowdStrike outage.

Officials say that the outage impacted the phone system and computers in many of the offices in Butte County.

Scott Kennelly, Behavioral Health Director for Butte County, tells Action News Now that all of the departments met this morning to troubleshoot the issues and says that IT staff had spent Friday working to get Butte County Behavioral Health back online.
