BOISE, Idaho — In a news release sent out on Friday, the Boise School District (BSD) announced that there will be a special meeting to discuss safety and security in schools, following a surge of unsubstantiated threats on social media.
On Monday, Sept. 23, the BSD will host a special meeting to raise public awareness about the district’s safety and security procedures at 5:30 p.m. at the District Services Center at 8169 W. Victory Road in Boise.
In the news release, BSD said the special meeting will include, “a presentation by district administration and the Boise Police Department, highlighting many of the safety measures that the Boise School District has implemented to ensure our students and campuses are safe and secure learning environments.”
