Bizarre Teaser Trailer Drops for A Minecraft Movie [Video]

A first look teaser trailer has finally dropped for A Minecraft Movie, the eagerly (or cautiously?) awaited live-action adaptation of one of history’s best-selling video games. Fan reaction seems mixed… at best. Especially with Jack Black as the iconic Steve.

Black stars alongside Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple) as Dawn, Sebastian Eugene Hansen (Mozart in the Jungle) as Henry, Jason Momoa (Aquaman) as Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Emma Myers (Wednesday) as Natalie, and Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus).

In the film, four misfits—Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn—find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination.
