Biden one of Americas most consequential, Obama says; Clinton praises his extraordinary career WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio [Video]

Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, along with Secretary Hillary Clinton, praised President Joe Biden on his career and his service to the nation.

All three took to social media on Sunday to offer extended comments in reaction to Biden’s decision to drop his re-election bid.

The Clintons said, “we join millions of Americans in thanking President Biden for all he has accomplished.” They also said they are honored to join Biden in endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris “and will do whatever we can to support her:”

Obama, who picked Biden to be his vice president in 2008, was effusive in his comments about Biden.

In part, Obama said “Joe Biden has been one of America’s most consequential presidents, as well as a dear friend and partner to me. Today, we’ve also been reminded — again — that he’s a patriot of the highest order.”

He made no mention of Harris or Biden’s endorsement …
