From frenzied school trips to family days out, Alton Towers has a special place in our hearts. And now, fans are being treated to a brand new rollercoaster.

Joining the likes of Nemesis and Rita, the new ride, Toxicator, will be arriving at the theme park in the spring.

Alton Towers announced the exciting news on social media, with a post that read: ‘Get ready to submit to the spin in Spring 2025 with our brand-new ride, Toxicator. Ready to face the ultimate thrill?’

The ride will be a ‘top-spin’, which means riders sit on a platform that rotates between two axes, and it’s set to be the only one in the world elevated above ground level.
