PENNSYLVANIA, USA — A York County man is set to retire after being in business for 60 years.
Bob Houser, of Bob’s Sno Balls, announced earlier this month on Facebook that due to health issues, he is retiring from serving the flavored desserts across our area.
“Started in 1965, and we’ve been doing it consecutively for 60 years,” Houser said. “I run the same route everyday, so the kids know when I’m coming, where I’m coming, which street I’m on…”
Houser said he’s been doing the job for so long because he loves the people.
“I get to see the good in people,” Houser explained. “I’m selling to three, and four generations of the same family. So, they’re not just customers, they’re friends.”
