Chicken tenders, a familiar favorite, have transcended the kids menu and are the new frontier for growth. In 2024, nearly half of fast-food operators carry chicken tenders on their menus, up more than 5% from 2019. The classic item is coming back for many chains as they figure out how to bring consumers back amid slumping sales.
