Though we may consider them the premier brand for loveable lads, Stone Island has just gone against type by dropping a feature-length documentary film that its director describes as a “docu-poem”. Infinite Colours – helmed by filmmaker and artist Ken-Tonio Yamamoto – chronicles the community of employees at Stone Island’s headquarters in Ravarino, Italy, revealing how those workers “actively contribute to and shape the production process.” The film follows different workers around as they go about their everyday tasks, and is also interspersed with archive stills of key Stone Island pieces, giving the documentary a dream-like, collage effect. Watch the feature-length film below on YouTube, where it’s been uploaded in its entirety.
