Linnell-Brahma Park ribbon cutting set for Thursday in southeast Bakersfield [Video]

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for a new park in southeast Bakersfield Thursday afternoon.

Linnell-Brahma Park is the 65th park in the City of Bakersfield and is located near Brahma Street and Linnell Way. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 3 p.m. Nov. 7.

How muralist Jesse Moreno includes community to beautify Bakersfield

The park features children’s and youth playgrounds, a shaded exercise station, multiple picnic areas, and a basketball court.

The park includes a community wall art mural completed by 17 News graphic design artist Jesse Moreno.
