SUNY Fredonia has partnered up with SUNY JCC to encourage more transfer students between the two Chautauqua County colleges.
FREDONIA, N.Y. — Two Chautauqua County colleges will be teaming up in a new agreement to give transfer students preferred benefits and more.
SUNY Fredonia announced their new partnership with SUNY JCC in a post made to their social media pages on Thursday. In the post’s caption it read “SUNY Fredonia and Jamestown Community College are joining forces through a Preferred Partnership Agreement.”
Transfer students at SUNY JCC who chose to go to SUNY Fredonia will get benefits such as simplified admissions, transfer credit considerations, course registration, and engagement experiences.
“This new partnership with JCC will open the doors to a college degree to more students throughout surrounding communities,” said SUNY Fredonia Provost and Executive Vice President David Starrett.
